The technology

The real stack SolutionIA ships to clients.

You will not use toys. You will use the same tools SolutionIA uses in production for its WhatsApp agents (Zayed, Mouls, le Portail), its SaaS apps (KitPay, Sign, Verify) and its websites. The point is not to memorize them: it is to learn how they fit together, so that you can keep learning on your own after the pilot.

Read it like a map. A customer message leaves the phone (text, voice note, or payment screenshot) and reaches the Baileys bot on Railway. Voice notes go through Whisper first; text and images go straight to Claude, which reads images natively. Claude consults Supabase to look up the menu, create the order, record payment references, and generate receipts. The AI reply - menu card, invoice, receipt - travels the same route back. The showcase website lives on its own and simply points customers to the WhatsApp number that starts the loop.

Each tool, in detail

Claude

The thinking brainby Anthropic

What it does. Writing, reasoning, generating code, understanding your questions.

Why we use it. Claude is one of the two best AI assistants in the world today (with ChatGPT). We use it because it is particularly good at long, careful reasoning and at writing clean code. It also handles French and Arabic very well, which matters in Mauritania.

How it fits in your project.
  • ·You will use Claude through its web interface (claude.ai) and inside your code editor (Claude Code).
  • ·You write a prompt in plain English (or French), Claude replies. If the reply is wrong, you tell it why and it tries again.
  • ·You always re-read what Claude produces. The AI is fast, not infallible.

OpenAI Whisper

The earsby OpenAI

What it does. Turning voice notes into text. In 2026, many WhatsApp customers send voice messages instead of typing. Whisper transcribes those so the AI can reply.

Why we use it. In Mauritania, voice messages are the dominant way people communicate on WhatsApp. If your assistant cannot read voice messages, it is deaf. Whisper is the best open model for Hassaniya, French and Arabic transcription, and it is cheap to run.

How it fits in your project.
  • ·A customer sends a voice note on WhatsApp.
  • ·Your server receives the audio file and sends it to Whisper.
  • ·Whisper returns the text. The text is passed to Claude.
  • ·Claude writes a reply. You send it back on WhatsApp.

Baileys

The WhatsApp bridgeopen source (TypeScript)

What it does. Connecting your code to a real WhatsApp number so your AI can send and receive messages.

Why we use it. WhatsApp Business API officially exists, but it is expensive, slow to approve, and requires a company account. Baileys is a free open-source library that connects to WhatsApp as if it were a normal phone. Perfect for a pilot, a small shop, a prototype. SolutionIA uses it in production on several projects.

How it fits in your project.
  • ·You run a small Node.js program on a server (we use Railway).
  • ·The first time, you scan a QR code with your phone, just like WhatsApp Web.
  • ·After that, your code receives every message and can send replies.
  • ·The AI logic lives in your website; Baileys is only the postman.

Next.js

The website frameworkby Vercel

What it does. Building modern websites quickly. Pages, forms, API endpoints, all in one project.

Why we use it. It is the most popular React framework in 2026. Netlify and Vercel both deploy it in one click. Our whole SolutionIA ecosystem is built on it, which means you learn a skill that is directly reusable.

How it fits in your project.
  • ·Claude writes the Next.js code for you based on your plan.
  • ·You run it on your laptop to see it live (`npm run dev`).
  • ·You push it to GitHub, Netlify deploys it automatically on a public URL.

Supabase

The databaseopen source

What it does. Storing user accounts, FAQs, logs of conversations, uploaded photos.

Why we use it. It is a free, modern alternative to Firebase. You get a Postgres database, authentication, file storage and real-time updates out of the box, with a web dashboard easy enough for a beginner.

How it fits in your project.
  • ·You create a project in the Supabase dashboard (free tier).
  • ·You design your tables with Claude's help.
  • ·Your Next.js site talks to Supabase through a small library.

Netlify

The hostby Netlify

What it does. Putting your website online on a real URL, for free.

Why we use it. Zero-config deployment. You connect your GitHub repository once, and every change you push appears online in under 2 minutes. Free SSL certificate included.

How it fits in your project.
  • ·You create a free Netlify account.
  • ·You link your GitHub repository.
  • ·Each `git push` triggers a new deploy. Your mentor shares the live URL.

Railway

The server for the WhatsApp botby Railway

What it does. Running your Baileys WhatsApp bot 24/7.

Why we use it. Netlify is perfect for websites but cannot run long-living processes like a WhatsApp connection. Railway can, in one click, for ~5 USD / month per project. SolutionIA uses it for every WhatsApp bot.

How it fits in your project.
  • ·You deploy your Baileys bot to Railway from GitHub.
  • ·First run: scan the QR code once from your phone.
  • ·The bot stays online and talks to your Next.js site via a webhook.
The big idea

Each tool does one job and does it well. Your project glues them together:
Customer → WhatsApp → Baileys → (Whisper if voice) → Claude → reply → Baileys → Customer
Learning to read that diagram and change any piece of it is what makes you autonomous. That is the real skill you leave with.
